Oh my gosh, you won’t believe it! The single has this super cool CD-ROM track with the music video for Streets Of America! It was totally Dragnet’s idea and Brian thought it was awesome for people with computers. He said it’s so much fun to play with! They wanted to do an even better job on it, but they were always on tour and things were so rushed. Like, they’d be on stage in Amsterdam and someone would call them saying they needed to know if the CD-ROM was okay by 10 o’clock that night. So Brian would be like, “Do whatever you want!” and hang up the phone. Crazy, right? They’ve been on tour for two years straight, so they’re taking a little break now to gain more control over these things. They want to make sure everything comes out the way they want it to.
And get this, the video was shot in the Mojave Desert in California! How cool is that? It was directed by David Bragger, who also did the videos for Punk Rock Song and A Walk. But here’s the crazy part, Brian said it was one of the worst experiences he’s ever had. Can you believe it?
