Greg is super pumped and excited about the meaning behind the song “Sinister Rouge”! He explains that it’s all about the super evil Inquisition and those religious dudes who wore red robes during that time. But get this, he says that the rouge he’s talking about is still around today! It’s this idea that if you say something wrong, you can totally get punished for it, especially if it goes against the traditional or formal authority in your country. And back when they wrote this album, the formal authority was all about being on their side or being against them. But Greg is totally against that whole idea, so he wrote this awesome song to show that the Inquisition is still a part of our lives. How cool is that?!

I’ve been lurking on that site for over 20 years and if you’re into Bad Religion as much as I am, I’m sure you’re familiar. If you are not, go there right now and never come back to this site again. You should, and I totally understand.
