In May 1997, Greg mentioned that some of the stuff he was composing sounded a lot like “Runnin’ Fast,” but he assured everyone that he’s now a better composer, lyricist, and recordist, so the material will be even better. When asked about his amazing melodies, he jokingly said, “I hear voices in my head; not many people do.” The truth is, most of BR’s vocal melodies actually come from Greg’s head, even on songs that are only credited to Brett on the albums.
